Animal Nutrition 1, 2, 3
Oh where or where has my little dog gone? Or kitten for that matter~ Such is the lament of many a pet owner these last few years of recalls, nutritional scams, pet food label Ph.d ers, dogfoodanalysis.comers et al. My name is Ava Rogers and dog nutrition has been my passion for twenty years. The story is the same - 1 beloved dog, a bouvier; twenty vets and $10,000 later (literally); recommendation to put my beloved animal down at 2 years old due to 5 different diagnoses, including kidney failure: and one result. Listen to myself and get informed FAST. Does it work? Yes. (She lived to 10 very healthily). Take patience? Yes. Do you really need a Ph.d? Not literally, but you must read blogs, and books and get informed. Unfortunately, with the laws working against the dog and cat food consumer, you almost do need a Ph.d. So this is the blog that can really help. Common sense, good books, a little trial and error, commitment and a need to examine your pet EVERY day to see what adjustments you can make are all that it takes. Let's go~
